Let's Hope They Are A Bunch Of Friendly E.T.s

Aliens are real. I always expected it, but the U.S. Govt. has finally decided to tell the public on July 26, 2023. At least now I know I am not some paranoid conspiracy theorist. With this new information finally out publicly, what could this mean for the history of the world moving forward?
Apparently, the government has been knowing about the existence of extraterrestrial beings for decades. Not only have they spotted them, but they've also acquired an actual body and spacecraft. That's actually insane!
I can only wonder what this may mean. I have so many questions too. Why did they wait until now to finally say something? Why have they been keeping this a secret for so many years? What do these aliens look like? Should we as a human race be worried or excited?
Knowing that we are not the only beings in the universe is such an exciting discovery. I am glad to be alive during this time. We are literally making history right now.
Interaction with Extraterrestrial Beings
If I'm being honest, I am not really afraid of the aliens. I am more afraid of what humans will do to the aliens once we officially make contact with them.
Based off of all of the media that we have created depicting the possibility of us interacting with beings other than ourselves, we tend to act solely out of fear because we don't understand them. There are many movies, books, games, and more that illustrate that picture. Humans almost always fear things that they don't completely understand.
I know that all of our depictions of aliens in the media are fake, but I bring them up because those creation, those stories, came from humans. We, as human beings, create stories of actually killing aliens just because we already imagine them as a threat. May I say again, that's actually insane!
The craziest thing about human beings is that we even kill each other if another person is beyond our understanding. If you know even an ounce of world history, you'll know exactly what I mean. I am excited for the existence of aliens, but I fear for them because of our human nature.
Govt.'s Advocate...Kinda
Now, let me put myself in the government's hypothetical shoes. I can understand why they wouldn't want to tell the country about extraterrestrials when they first spotted them. They most likely didn't even know what they had discovered. There is no point in getting the public all worked up over something they weren't even sure of themselves.
However, at some point within those decades, some government official should have made a public statement about aliens existing before now. The world has been through so much lately, a pandemic, wars, global warming, the economy being unstable. Why decide to release this information now?
Maybe they thought the public wasn't ready to receive that information, but is that the government's decision to make? We are supposed to be living in a free nation. Our government is supposed to be lead by the people. So why were the people kept in the dark?
I'm glad that the public is being informed now. It's not necessarily a surprise to me that the government took so long to inform us. This country has covered up many secrets and stories in the past.
I just hope that we will make smarter decisions when dealing with species that are not from Earth.
My Hopes For the Inevitable Interaction
Apparently, the ships that these aliens traveled in are much more advance than the ones we use. One was described to be stationary in midair during a category 4 hurricane and that same aircraft could also accelerate to super sonic speeds in almost no time.
The Govt. Officials that confessed these things at the Congressional hearing two days ago, also stated that their technology is more advanced than human technology because we currently do not have any ships that can just leave our atmosphere, go into space and come back without landing. These spacecrafts that the aliens travel in are things that no human, at least in the United States, has ever created.
With this knowledge, my hope is that the aliens don't have any intentions to harm us. I hope that they could actually provide some assistance to us and help our technology to advance even further. Hopefully we could learn how to travel through space more efficiently like they do.
Knowing that aliens are real has completely changed the game for my creative mind. I always knew that we couldn't be the only intelligent species that exist. If aliens are real, then whose to say that there aren't any intelligent species deep in our own oceans? Just by typing that question, I just reminded myself of the submarine incident that happened earlier this summer.
We live in a strange world. I don't know what the future holds, but my beliefs teach me to not live life in fear. I am going to continue to live and enjoy my life while I am still here on this earth. Whatever God has planned, whether it involves us humans, aliens, or whatever creatures that we have yet to discover, I am fully putting my faith in Him because He is the only one that has all of the answers.
Anyway, all of this was on my mind since they made that public announcement and I wanted to write about here on my blog. I hope you all enjoyed my thoughts on this topic and if you want to talk more about it feel free to leave a comment or contact me however you can. I would love to continue this discussion.
Also I am going to attach the hearing down below if you would like to watch the whole thing and see what was exactly said about our new space neighbors.
